Top 5 tips for improving photos of your kids.

So, you’ve been scrolling through your camera reel, and wow-you didn’t realise you had taken so many photos of your kids. There are some okay shots, some great ones and plenty that should be deleted, never to be seen again. But what if there were some simple ways to better capture those precious everyday memories.

Here’s my fast five tips to help you out.

1 Get in close and focus on the eyes

2 Change your perspective – you don’t always have to show their face.

3 Give them something to do and get them talking so they are not so focussed on the camera

4 Tell a story with your photos. If you are going to the park. Take photos of them getting ready…walking to the park… having a snack…checking out the ducks, not just playing on the playground.

5 Get it the photo yourself – you want to keep a record of the things you do together.

There you go.

You don’t have to try and do them all at once.

Choose one to focus on and you will soon develop better skills!
