Tips for your own mini photoshoot with your kids.

You’ve had this crazy thought for a while. You want to have a go at your own photo-shoot with your kids. But then you discover it’s not quite as easy as you first thought.

I get it. But it is do-able.

So, I’ve pulled a few tips together to help you out for when you decide to throw caution to the wind and experiment with your own mini photo-shoot.

 Check them out…

1 Take photos when they are most happy. Don’t get hung up if it doesn’t work out, try again another time.

2 Clear furniture to make a space. Use a blank wall for backdrop, a sheet, or a big piece of white cardboard to eliminate as many distractions as possible so the focus is on the most important part – the face

3 Use natural lighting. A window to the side of your child or behind you so the light is on their face.

4 Try taking a photo straight down – onto the floor, a textured rug or a couch.

5 Use props and toys.

6 Get someone else to help distract and attract their attention

7 Go for candid over posed photos

Try them out and let me know how if they made a difference!
