Can we talk about shoes in family photos?

Have you heard of the saying ‘shoes can make or break an outfit’?

People usually invest a lot of time choosing their clothes for a photo shoot but

oftentimes, shoes are just a last-minute add-on that can spoil a photo, especially if they distract the viewer away from the most important thing - people’s faces.

Unless you are having photos taken on the beach, then shoes are a good idea.

Wear comfortable shoes that you so can move around freely, especially if you have to walk to a location or will be playing with your kids. 

Make sure your shoes are clean.

Pick shoes that go with your outfit. 

Choose shoes that blend in rather than stand out. All-white shoes and those with neon accents will draw the eye away from faces.

Brown shoes are a good choice for guys to wear.

And socks… don’t forget to plan your socks.

Choose ones that will blend in with your outfit otherwise they will grab the attention of viewers.
