About Alison
If you asked Alison to choose her favourite pastime, writing or photography, she would be hard pressed to make a choice. That’s why she decided to combine both loves into Pen & Lens. Her years of volunteer photographic work at her local church has helped hone her skills and she became the unofficial, official photographer for many of her friends at various school events.
While Alison has always been interested in writing, it has only been in the last few years that she has be brave enough to put her stories out in the world for public consumption. But the road of an Indie author is fraught with many twists and turns and in all honesty it’s not cheap to have your own books edited and published. Another reason why she has decided to put her photographic skills to use in order to help fund her writing career.
